About Me ✨

So, this bit’s all about me — fun, right?

I started Mollycoddle Studios in the autumn of 2021, after years of doing nails at home, from a caravan at my favourite North Norfolk campsite, and renting chairs in studios all over Norwich, eventually, it was time to branch out and create my very own little spot — and that’s how Mollycoddle was born!

I specialise in hand-painted nail art, BIAB (builder gel), hard gel, and nail extensions.

I’m obsessed with quirky, cartoon-inspired pop art styles, but I can turn my hand to a whole range of techniques and designs — I’m basically a vessel for your vision babe.

Too often, beauty spaces can feel intimidating or uninviting — but not here. I work tirelessly to maintain an environment that’s fun, inclusive, and safe, where you can truly relax and feel like yourself.

Experience

I’ve been a nail technician for over seven years, and what a journey it’s been! Four years ago, I took the leap and opened Mollycoddle Studios — a creative, inclusive little haven in the heart of Norwich.

Since then, I’ve built a thriving client base, trained and mentored other nail artists, hosted workshops, and continued developing my skills through ongoing professional courses.

I’m deeply passionate about nail health and allergy awareness, and I’m constantly striving to raise industry standards to make our craft safer, smarter, and more sustainable.

My approach goes beyond nails — I take pride in creating a calm, supportive space where everyone feels comfortable, especially those who are neurodiverse or find traditional beauty environments overwhelming. For me, beauty is holistic — it’s about care, creativity, and connection as much as it is about the finished set.

Rebalance (every 3-4 weeks)

A rebalance refreshes your existing BIAB or structured gel by removing bulk, rebalancing the apex, and infilling new growth to keep your nails strong, smooth, and perfectly shaped.

We recommend booking every 3–4 weeks — leaving your set longer can cause lifting, breakage, or stress on the natural nail. Regular maintenance keeps your nails healthy, even, and ready for your next fresh set.
